GET PREGNANT: Real Fast...Real Easy!

PREGNANCY: The Natural, Safe and Painless Way!

How would it feel to discover you are pregnant? Some of us have had to go through many long trials, medicals & procedures and "treatments" while trying to get pregnant, some of them invasive and even downright painful... and all of them inneffective! After all that... still no pregnancy Dammit!

"Modern medicine has it all!" some want to claim, but that is so very far from the truth. Running off to the local GP because you're having trouble getting pregnant is not always the answer and sometimes results in more damage than than good! It is a fact that modern medicine has made huge strides in it's advancement in the areas of pregancy and falling pregnant, yes, and the number of very successful procedures has increased... but it is also a fact that ancient medicine and natural treatments have been around a very long time and often tend to be pooh-poohed! and overlooked, but getting pregant naturally is very real and often the only way to success

Modern-day pharmaceutical companies are keen to downplay the level of success that the world of natural medicine enjoys, yet the international community is moving ever more in that direction. More and more families trying to get pregnant are turning to homeopaths to have a baby. In fact, more and more qualified medical professionals are taking to using natural medicines in their practises

Pregnancy and getting pregnant are natural human and animal processes, so why should it not be kept as natural as possible? Does it not make more sense to go about a natural process naturally? We don't get a machine to have sex for us do we? So why rely on artificial means to fall preganant?

It is fast becoming a modern-day fact that natural medicines and treatments are far more effective at successfully helping couples in falling pregnant than artificial means. Not only that, they are more successful at carrying through a strong and healthy pregancy and one of the main reasons is that natural medicine looks at the whole person, and indeed the couple "as a whole", mentally, physically and psychologically!

So you are both treated, the man no less than the woman! Getting pregnant always used to fall mainly on the woman, but today it clearly recognised that the man is EQUALLY responsible for the resulting pregnancy

What we promote here is a wonderful, holistic, natural and discomfort-free process to pregnancy that includes man and woman together. So don't delay any firther, put aside the storm of failures and get pregnant very soon!

My Long Frustrating Battle With Infertility

Like many young newlyweds, my husband and I didn’t want children at first.  As a matter of fact, we did everything we could to prevent it.   But, after five years of marriage, we knew the time had come – we were ready.
With a bit of arrogance (after all, we never thought we couldn’t conceive), we jumped headlong into the quest to get pregnant.   Only it didn’t happen.  Why? We wondered after several months.  Sure, by now I was in my mid-30’s, but I was healthy and strong and had never had any indication that getting pregnant would be a problem once I decided that I was ready for a family.
What should have been easy suddenly became very, very difficult.  Being the goal oriented couple we are, my husband and I found it especially difficult to find ourselves on the losing end of our quest.  We had never failed at anything before, and let me tell you that this was not something we were prepared to fail at!  So we kept trying … and trying … and trying….
Sex was now just that – sex with a purpose.  Done when my temperature dictated, it had become a means to an end result, lacking the excitement and the passion it had once held for us.
After more than a year of frustration our relationship began to feel the strain.  I was moody and short-tempered, often on the verge of tears.  I couldn’t bear to watch other women’s pregnant bellies grow while mine remained an empty tomb.  My every thought revolved around what I was (or had done) wrong.  What was wrong with me?  Why couldn’t I do what every other woman could accomplish so easily?

Like So Many Other Couples Discover, The Answers We Desperately Wanted Weren’t Going to Be Available To Us

Tired of blaming each other for our inability to conceive we sat down and had a heart to heart talk and decided that it was time to get some answers.   After putting off going to the OBGYN for fear of what we’d learn, we decided to face our fears and get tested for a variety of infertility issues.
Unfortunately, like so many other couples discover, the answers we desperately wanted – and needed – weren’t going to be available to us.  More frustrated than ever, we learned that there was no clear-cut reason for our inability to conceive.

Neither of us exhibited any physical, physiological or biochemical reason to prevent a pregnancy.  The experts didn’t have a clue as to why we weren’t pregnant and dubbed us with the term “non-specific infertility.”   They suggested that we de-stress and keep trying.  Great!  Hadn’t that been what we were doing all along?
I felt there must have been a healthier more effective alternative
Next you will read how I went on to do 14 years of research and development, until it happened!

What Causes Infertility?

Infertility is the biological or psychological inability of a couple to conceive after repeatedly having unprotected sexual intercourse (while no other form of birth control is being used) for a period of time, usually twelve months or more.  Infertility also refers to a woman’s inability to carry a pregnancy to full term. There are many reasons for infertility.  Studies show that female conditions account for over two thirds of the cases of infertility. The rest are caused by sperm irregularity and other unidentifiable factors.

So what causes infertility in women? Most cases of infertility are caused by hormonal deficiencies or imbalances, structural problems in the reproductive organs and some illnesses. Mechanical trauma and chemical disturbances from surgeries and potent medications can also negatively affect a woman’s fertility.

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) is probably the most common cause of female infertility in the world. It is an infection of the reproductive organs and the pelvis in general. The inflammation and trauma to the organs can affect their structural integrity, making conception difficult. Moreover, the prolonged exposure to microorganisms and the scarring that result after the infection may cause blood poisoning and ectopic pregnancy.

Problems related to the adrenal gland and thyroid deficiencies may cause ovarian and hormonal problems. Any problem with the two organs can increase the production of prolactin. Prolactin is a hormone that stimulates the production of breast milk and prevents ovulation. High levels of prolactin in the body not only cause difficulty in conceiving but may also indicate a pituitary tumor.

Scarred tissues left after abdominal or vaginal surgeries may also impair conception. The traumatized areas may cause problems with regards to the movement of egg cells from the ovaries to the fallopian tubes and the uterus. Frequent abortions also leave scar tissues that can obstruct the uterus, leaving the egg cell and the sperm unable to meet.

Some medications such antibiotics, antidepressants and anti-inflammatory agents can impair infertility. Indirectly, these drugs can decrease estrogen and luteinizing hormones in the body which are needed for the maturation and release of mature egg cell.

So, what causes infertility in males? The most common factors contributing to male infertility are associated with sperm and its characteristics. Either the sperm count is too low or the sperm is low quality. Sperm cells made of poor quality move slowly or swim in the wrong direction. The cells may be abnormally-shaped, making transportation difficult. There are a lot things that can contribute to the production of poor-quality sperm cells, such as the failure of the testes to develop and properly descend.  These two conditions may be congenital, meaning the testes remain within the body cavity. The chronic exposure to metals and medications can also impair the release of potent sperm cells from the body. The chemicals can alter the molecular and physical structure of the cells, making movement and conception difficult.

As to the question ’what causes infertility,’ there are many answers.  The problem cannot be pinned to either men or women as it is an issue than can affect both sexes.  If you or your partner are unfortunate enough to receive an infertility diagnosis, don’t lose heart.  There are many conservative and natural treatments to help remedy fertility issues today.

Signs of Infertility: Be mindful and Always on the Lookout

The signs of infertility may vary greatly from one individual to another, but the most common and typically first evident sign of infertility is the lack of pregnancy after a couple has been having regular, unprotected sex for a year or more with no other form of birth control in place.  It is very possible to be infertile even if you are generally healthy, experience normal and regular menstrual cycles, and have a healthy sex drive.

If you suspect you may be infertile you should ask yourself, as well as your partner, relevant and essential questions and answer them with open honesty to better evaluate your present circumstance.  Some of these questions relate to age, menstrual cycle

Regarding Age

Are either of you 35 years of age or older?  Infertility in individuals whose age is more than 35 years old is very common compared to those who are still in their prime years of life. As women age, the percentage of women conceiving children also decreases. For instance, a woman who is 30 years old has a 20% chance of getting pregnant during any one cycle. However, when she reaches the age of 40, there is a dramatic drop in conception rates, to as low as 5%.  So, if you are over the age of 35 and have been trying to conceive for six months or more without success, it may be a wise decision to seek medical attention to discuss possible fertility issues.

Menstrual Cycles

Do you have regular or irregular menstrual cycles? An irregular menstrual cycle could potentially be a warning signal of a fertility issue.  But bear in mind that it is only suggestive and is never definitive therefore, further diagnostic testing should be done to confirm any fertility issues or underlying medical conditions. Normal menstrual cycles usually span from anywhere between 24 and 35 days. Cycles that fall outside this norm are considered abnormal or irregular.   If this is the case with you, it may be beneficial to contact your medical provider to discuss possible options.

Another issue related to menstrual cycles concerns the amount of blood that commonly flows each time you have your period.  Do you bleed light or heavy? Do you experience intense or severe abdominal cramps?  It is considered completely normal to experience bleeding for 3-7 days when you have our period.  On the other hand, if your bleeding is considerably light or exceptionally heavy then you may want to consult your obstetrician. When trying to conceive, any variance from what is typically normal when it comes to your menstrual cycle should be noted and discussed with your obstetrician.

Regarding Males

Does your partner experience signs of impotence or ejaculatory problems?  Unlike with females, detecting the signs of  male infertility is more difficult and most often needs the aid of more sophisticated tests and screening like the sperm count and sperm motility tests.

Top Reasons for Infertility

One of the worst nightmares that a couple trying to conceive could have is to discover that either he or she is infertile. It is most couple’s dream to have kids and rear them in the best way they know how. All that could be shattered with just a single diagnosis—infertility. The cold, hard truth is that infertility isn’t just a ‘woman’ problem.  About one-third of the infertility cases rest with the males.

So what exactly is infertility?  One of the most common definitions, for women, is the inability to get pregnant after one year of trying and for men, the inability to impregnate.

There are various reasons for infertility.  In males, infertility is most often caused by problems related to the production of sperm.  Either the male is producing too few sperm or none at all. Another problem may be the sperm’s inability to reach the egg and fertilize it, and this may be because of its abnormal shape or structure that prevents it from propelling itself forward correctly. Oftentimes, an infertile man is born with defects in sperm production.

Sometimes, the reasons for infertility may start in the later part of life which may be brought about by illness or injury. For example, cystic fibrosis often causes infertility in men. There are factors which may heighten the occurrence of this problem since the number and quality of a man’s sperm greatly depends on his overall health and lifestyle. Some things that may reduce a man’s sperm count and the quality of that sperm are the use of alcohol, drugs, the presence of environmental toxins in the body such as pesticides and lead, smoking, health problems, certain medications, radiation treatment and chemotherapy.

When it comes to infertility in women, the most common problems relate to ovulation. Without the occurrence of ovulation, there will be no eggs to be fertilized. Some of the signs that a woman is not ovulating is that she is having irregular menstrual periods, or even lacks the periods entirely. Things that increase a woman’s risk for infertility are the following: age, stress, poor diet, being overweight or underweight, smoking, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and other health problems that may cause hormonal changes.

If you wondered why age was listed first among the factors that influence female infertility, it is because aging decreases a woman’s ability to bear children and this may be because of the ovaries’ deteriorating ability to produce eggs as well as the deteriorating quality of the eggs she already possesses.  We know that aging is associated with different health problems in both men and women, but when it comes to fertility, an increase in age also means an increase in risk of birth defects and miscarriage.

Infertility Counseling: Education is Indeed a Golden Key That Opens Many Doors

Finding the right person to have an Infertility Counseling with can be a daunting task. But once you have chosen the right person, you will be amazed at what you can learn. There are many things to consider when choosing a therapist.  Some insurance companies may even require that a counselor possesses a specific degree.

Here are some useful guidelines to help you find the best Infertility Counselor for you:

1.      Choose a licensed and experienced expert.  There is no better way to help you cope with infertility issues than by hiring an expert in the field of Infertility.  You should choose someone with a degree in mental health, like psychology, and make sure that he or she is certified to work in your state. Counselors with more experience in this field of practice may understand you more because the individual already has immense experience in handling people with similar experiences.

2.      Seek your doctor’s advice.  Since all members of your health care team work in conjunction and coordination with one another, then perhaps your doctor may suggest good counselors to help you with your problem. Your doctor will always have someone in mind that he or she has worked with in the past and this is always a good place to start.

3.       Interview your potential counselor.  Before choosing your counselor, you should be comfortable enough to ask your prospective counselor vital questions tactfully about his or her services and experience. Almost all counselors will offer their first session free of charge.  This is a great opportunity to get to know your counselor better. It is essential that you don’t place any barrier between you and your counselor. He or she should be a person with whom you can easily open up and should always be willing and able to lend you their listening ears.

Conclusion:

Life’s problems, especially when it has something to do with your frustrations over the things that you have desired for a long period of time already, can be hard to face. But if you have someone that will support you emotionally and help provide you with the knowledge you need to make educated decisions, then it will be easier for you to handle and accept whatever comes.

It is difficult to go through infertility problems alone. You really need someone who can understand your need to vent your frustrations, someone who you can openly talk to about your fears and concerns and longings.  There are plenty of good infertility counselors out there.  Take the time to find the right one for you.
